"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart; Do not rely on your own insight. " - Prov 3:5 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jer 29:11

"Do Not Fear" - a command

The God Almighty says " Fear Not". How comfortable it is when you hear this even as you are in a troubled state. How much comfort and confidence it brings to our troubled hearts.
Bible researchers have found out that there are 366 references of "Do not Fear" in the Bible. One for everyday, accounting for the leap year too. My favorite one would be the one below.

More than the comforting theme of the sentence, we need to note that it is a COMMAND. God is commanding us not to be troubled. And if we do love God, we have to keep his commandments. Oh I know it is tough; but it is possible with the help of the Holy Spirit. Let us a pray to our comforter and counselor the Holy Spirit to help us not to fear and trust in God as He says,

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jer 29:11

  1. If God has promised us then we can be assured that it is true..In the books of Number 23:19 says that,"For God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?"

  2. Hey Guys, you all rock!!! Great exchange of God's Word! Amazing passion and thirst which others can imitate... More importantly, your spiritual growth is manifested by these "Divine Exchanges"...Will you be rewarded for this??? SURELY... Heb 6:10. But hey, where are the others? Jesus also lamented in Lk 17:17. If He Himself lamented, then our lamenting is not an issue... Keep rocking guys... EMELJAY
