About Chrome Charisma

“CHROME CHARISMA” is a joyful and holy abode (Ex 15:13) of a diverse collection of individuals, quite independent of one another to form an enthusiastic, dynamic and pleasant fellowship with charismatic experience and sharing the same fundamental spiritual revelations and espousing the same divine goals, thus growing on the philosophy of inter-dependence. As a chosen race (1Pet 2:9) and stewards of God’s abundant grace and gifts (1Pet 4:10),

the inter-personal relationship is established on healthy Scriptural principles (2Tim 3:16-17); and the leadership in the group is characterised more by offering service to each other rather than by governance. The emphasis is on the Word of God dwelling richly in each of the members, to teach and admonish (discipline, reprimand) one another in all wisdom; and with hearts full of gratitude, singing praises to the Living God. (Col 3:16). This is ensured through regular Bible Studies, which help each one of us to sing ”HOSANNA” to our Lord and King!

We focus on discipline and personal transformation, not by our own, but by the power of the Holy Spirit (Zech 4:6) and moving forward in personal life based on the principles of the Kingdom of God, forgetting what lies behind and what we were once, and thus ensuring an unbroken Divine fellowship with God, through His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour (Phil 3:13-14). We are not where we were! And we will not be where we are! For we are moving ahead! All by the grace and mercy of the Holy Trinity alone!

We foster the use of Spiritual gifts (Rom 12:6-8) as a source of strength for our brethren on their journey towards holiness and wellness.
We perpetually invoke the person, the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit to enable and empower ourselves for personal Christian service in the world around us while remaining insulated from the world (Rom 12: 2) and also to ward off the powers of darkness and the supercilious conspirators who cause strife, discord, dissensions and factions through gossip and slander (Rom 16:17) (2Tim 3:2-5) (Mt 10:16-17) (Lk 21:16-19).

We submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, till he flees (Js 4:7), while being clothed with the Armour of God and praying in the Spirit (Eph 6:10-18). We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Rom 8:37), and because the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1Jn 4:4) and therefore, we boldly

“Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary,praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His surpassing greatness!.....” (Ps 150).

Postscript :

                Chrome :: The dictionary says it is a strong shiny metal used as a protective covering for other metals (chrome plating); it is an alloy of different metals. We, the members are reminded to be strong in the Lord (Eph 6:10); to shine, being the light of the world (Mt 5:14,16); to protect others, being the salt of the earth (Mt 5:13) and also as doers of the Word of God; we are indeed an alloy, (a diverse collection of people). Chrome also stands for Chromepet.

                Charisma ::  The dictionary says it is the powerful personal charm that some people have, to attract, impress and win other people. Biblically, it is the divine power flowing forth from the Charismatic Gifts of the Holy Spirit, to win souls for Christ. We have unique gifts as allotted to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses; and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to us for the common good, for building up and for winning souls. (1Cor 12:4-11) (1Cor 14: 26) (James 5:19-20).
